Channels
Connect with the official WhatsApp Business API, or scan a QR code with any number (Lite).
Open Channels → WhatsApp → Connect and choose how to connect.

Official API (recommended)
You need:
- A number added in Meta Business → WhatsApp Manager.
- A permanent access token from a System User (Business settings → System users → Generate token) with the
whatsapp_business_messagingandwhatsapp_business_managementpermissions. - The number's Phone number ID (WhatsApp → API setup in your Meta app).

Enter your details
Paste the Phone number ID and token. Optionally add your WhatsApp Business Account ID (so we can subscribe the webhook for you) and your App secret (so every webhook is verified as coming from Meta). Click Connect number.

Copy the webhook details
We show a Callback URL and a Verify token.

Paste them into Meta
In your app at developers.facebook.com open WhatsApp → Configuration → Webhook, paste both and subscribe to the
messagesfield. - 4
Test
Send a message to your number. The agent replies within seconds.
Your token is encrypted before it's stored. WhatsApp only lets businesses send free-form replies within 24 hours of the customer's last message.
QR code (Lite)
Works with any normal or Business WhatsApp number: click Show QR code and scan it from WhatsApp → Settings → Linked devices → Link a device. The window closes by itself once connected.
- Replies you send from your phone pause the AI for that chat automatically.
- Group chats are ignored. Voice notes and images are understood.
Lite is unofficial, so WhatsApp may limit numbers that send a lot. Turn on Use a proxy for this number with a separate residential or mobile proxy per number to lower that risk. Saving the proxy restarts the session — no new QR scan is needed. For high volume use the Official API.
Contacts and opt-outs
Everyone who writes to your number becomes a contact. Customers can reply STOP to stop broadcasts and START to join again. See WhatsApp broadcasts.
