Messenger & Instagram

   Connect

   Open Channels and click Connect on Messenger or Instagram.

   Allow access

   Log in with Facebook and allow access to the Page (and its linked Instagram account). If no Pages show up, click Connect again and choose Edit access in the Facebook window to tick the Pages you want.

   Pick the Page or account

   The agent starts answering new messages straight away.

Instagram must be a professional (Business or Creator) account linked to the Facebook Page.

Working with your team

When someone from your team replies from the Page inbox or Meta Business Suite, the AI steps aside for that chat. Messenger only allows replies within 24 hours of the customer's last message; after that, team replies are sent with Meta's human-agent tag where allowed.

Comment replies

Click Comments next to the connected Page or Instagram account and switch it on. For each new comment on your posts the agent can:

• Reply publicly — a short AI answer, or the same text every time (use {name} for their first name).
• Send a private message — the full answer in their inbox. Meta allows one private message per comment, within 7 days. When they reply, the agent continues the chat in your inbox.

Limit it to comments containing your keywords (for example price, dam, koto), ignore spam words, and optionally like each answered comment. The last 30 comments and what was sent are listed in the same window.
